Christian Eriksen is considering a move to Manchester United after the deal which he had hoped for at Real Madrid collapsed. It had been reported that the Real manager, Zinedine Zidane, was considering the Danish international, but after Eden Hazard signed for the club, and with the focus now being on Paul Pogba, the Tottenham man, who had even backed up heading to La Liga, before his teams Champions League defeat to Liverpool, has to look elsewhere.

Juventus is also a possible destination for Eriksen, with Tottenham desperate to sell the 27-year-old. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has placed a 100 million euro price for the player, which if no club meets, the player will have to discuss a new contract at White Hart Lane. If he leaves, Mauricio Pochettino has identified Crystal Palace’s Wilfred Zaha as a possible replacement for Eriksen.

Alexis Sanchez Copa America Form

Alexis Sanchez seems to have found his scoring boots again after an impressive run of games in the ongoing Copa America, sending a clear message to Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjær, that he is not yet done. Sanchez has now scored as many goals in the Copa America with Chile, as those which he scored at Manchester during the entire 2018-19 season, when he only managed to score two goals.

The 30-year-old is now calling on Ole Gunnar Solskjær to give him another chance, after he has flopped at Manchester following his move from Arsenal, with supporters calling for his departure. With a £400000 per week salary, making him United’s top earner, the club is finding it difficult to find a buyer for the player, because of the wage demands. The former Arsenal and Barcelona man has played over 700 professional games, and there is a strong belief that his golden playing days are now behind him.
